Kenpo Martial Arts

Nanaimo Kenpo Martial Arts classes are held at Bayview Elementry School Gymnasium, 140 View St   Nanaimo.

Classes run from September to June yearly.

Class times are listed below:

Monday: ( Adults ) 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Wednesday: ( Adults ) 7:00pm – 8:30pm

Cost: $50.00 per month

There are NO contracts. We do not operate on a pay for 3 month, 6 month, 9 month or 1 year basis. If you pay for a month and take class and decide you don’t want to continue, we don’t want you to have wasted extra money on something you are no longer interested in. Newsletters are printed and handed out monthly with an invoice attached for each student. Students are required to pay at the beginning of each month.

There is a  $10.00 discount for each additional family member that joins class. For instance, the first family member will be charged $50.00 per month  rate, the next will be charged at $40.00 per month and so on up to a maximum of $20.00 per month. Any additional family members come in at $20.00.

Example 1. Four family member price would work as: $50.00, $40.00, $30.00 and $20.00 each per month

Example 2. Five family member price would work as: $50.00, $40.00, $30.00, $20.00 and $20.00 per month

Example 3. Six family member price would work as $50.00, $40.00, $30.00, $20.00, $20.00 and $20.00 per month etc.

How to sign up:

Anyone who is interested in taking Kenpo classes can call 250-713-7134 or just stop by class any time to come and watch. All potential students are able to try a week of classes for free to see if Kenpo is what they are looking for. After that period, the student can decide if they wish to register or look for something else.

We do not offer a drop in rate. This is mainly due to the fact that most people with a drop in type of attendance ( 2 to 3 times a month ) will most likely not progress at a level they will be satisfied with. In Kenpo Karate, like most other hobbies or interests, consistent attendance and hard work is required in order to get a real benefit from the product. As well, drop in attendance takes instructors away from students who are able to attend all the time, in order to show someone else the  same thing they were shown 3 weeks earlier but forgot due to lack of practice / attendance.

We are unable to refund missed class time due to choice or personal time conflicts. Some exceptions may be made in the rare circumstance of severe illness etc. In this case, your paid fee will carry over to cover your next month of class. ie. Pay for January and miss all of class due to illeness , we will roll over your paid fee to cover February.
